One thing I do gotta add is you can see her grandpa still being a dad, during the first dance she was crying out of the love of her brother and the loss and love for her father, and you can see he didn’t shed a tear, he’s trying to be strong for his granddaughter and strong for his son. No parent should ever out live their child. You know the pain he had during this time was still fresh, but he had to be strong for his grandchildren

June 5 2024. First time I've seen this ' Believable ' video and all jus by chance . . I really Enjoyed them - Through Tears.... A Very Pretty Bride, and she Looked Sooo Nice with her hair done long, thick and braided like that !! Her brother Nick? has the perfect voice for this song, and I believe his pretty sis immediately knew it too " I wish her new husband had also appeared with her at the end of also - to then hug and kiss her . . Thanks For These 2 video's.

I’ve watched this so many times and so many times lose myself. I lost my father two days before my 16th d-day. No matter the situation or circumstances I daughter wants to be walked down the aisle and dance with her daddy at her wedding. Here’s the thing…I knew my father was dying. On Father’s Day 5 weeks before he passed I went to the hospital with a Walkman with this single in it. I played for it for him and the tears swelled in his eyes. We both knew that we were never going to experience the future father daughter rituals most get to experience, but it that moment on Father’s Day 1999 he knew I loved and appreciated him at 16 years old. To this day I still wish I got to tell him so much. I wish everyday he got to experience his grand babies bc they’re so much like him. How many 20 yr olds love Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson lol. Here’s my point…love the man that helped give you life while you can. Trust me…some don’t deserve it, but if you have a man in your life that says they’re your father and they have done everything to protect you, love you and give you everything you need…own it, love them, appreciate them bc one day they won’t be here for you to tell them that. I promise you…it’s a shitty place to be!

The saddest thing that my daughter decided to Mary in church so that her father could walk her down the aisle, as our other daughter married in an office. Two days before he went into hospital, and missed her wedding he died six months later at 56. She is getting married again and I’m walking her to the desk in a castle, he’s always missed at family get togethers.

I just lost my dad last year, I’m not planning on getting married but I always thought about what I would do if he wasn’t around. I think I would dance with male friends and family who had a special role in my life.

He would sell records he is great!! Awesome brother!!

My Dad wasn’t there at my wedding. I didn’t get to have a Father Daughter Dance. Mike Horton a coworker of my Dad’s. He walked me down the aisle and danced with me. He died last year in a carjack shooting. He was 70 years old. Thank you Mike. You and Julie were good parents to me.
